Everything about me is about my educational career, my service as a youth minister at church, and my marriage.

| I married Holly Bennett from Bremerton, WA. We met while attending a religious education class in Tacoma, WA, while I was living in Gig Harbor. I have never been happier than when we were together, as friends and then as we dated. At the time I was working toward my associate's degree at Tacoma Community College. A few weeks after our marriage we celebrated Christmas, and a few weeks later we moved to Pullman, WA. | One year after our marriage and arrival in Pullman we moved into a management position at Cougar's Closet Ministorage. It was at that time that I became the Assistant Scout Master for Troop 446. This troop comprises of the young men at my church, and I accepted a youth minister calling in conjunction with my service to the scouting organization. The years of service since that time have contained many exciting, and a few death-defying moments. | Aside from marriage, my scholastic career has been the undertaking that has required the most consistent excursion of my life. Much of this could have been avoided, but I have taken every opportunity to gain extra-curricular experience. I have been part of the ASME student chapters of both Tacoma Community College and Washington State University. I have held many officer positions, and have used the club as a springboard for leadership training, networking in professional ME circles, and participation in engineering design competitions. I have taken a GPA hit for this activity, and delayed a speedy graduation, but it was a calculated exchange. I know I am better for it. |
